Tilting headrest - wtf?

So I go to order a couple of 4-way headrests. I call up genuine-ford-parts and the salesman asks for my VIN which I give to him. Well, it turns out that my car was supposed to have come with the 4-way headrests. Someone had switched them out before I got the car! WTF!

I'm trying to reach someone now at the dealer I bought the car at.

All 04 stangs with the interior upgrade package are supposed to have them. You got ripped, but really I am not sure what you are going to be able to do about it. You bought the car and saw what was on it.

The car was traded between dealers. It had just come off a truck at the other dealer. Technically I paid for the car indicated by the VIN, not what was in front of me when I picked up the car. I'm waiting for the service manager to call me back. Goddam, what a pisser!

Yep. If you have the IUP, then you are suppose to have the 4-way headrests.

Does your window sticker actually have IUP listed? Just wondering if one or the other dealer added some (but not all) of the IUP stuff themselves in order to make the sale or swap.

Act dumb. Tell him your headrests are broken in that they don't pivot (rotate) up and down. Ask him to "fix" them.
