They already did. It's called the FR500S.

One of the main problems with the 93R, 95R and 2000R is that too many people bought them and kept them as collector vehicles. Ford fixed that with the FR500S. It doesn't have a VIN number so it can never be registered. You either race it, or leave it in a show room.
