Time for new mufflers....again

Of course since I just got the bullets on a few days ago it might be a biast comment but i would go with bullets :D I did and couldnt imagine how disapointed I would have been if I didnt. I have them on my stock 5.0 with a Bcam and it is the DEEPEST sound ive ever heard. With the cam every time it lopes back up it has like a poping sound, it has an amazing tone, and when you hit it, all hell breaks lose, it literally hits with a bang and just keeps getting louder from there, really has the tone of a nascar. It is advertised to be 2-4DB quieter then straight pipes and has tone, seems to be just what your looking for, since its not a daily driver drone wont bother you, mine is a daily driver and ive already gotten used to it. And of course there just about the best flowing mufflers, I noticed my car revving alot faster from the flowmasters. Heres some videos of mine, be on the look out in the next few days for some more videos me and my buddy are going to make some good ones when we have time.

Thanks, you just convinced me of what mufflers to buy :nice: by the way, what did you paint your h pipe with?

Have you tryed no mufflers and a turn down?

Put on a 16-20" length of 3.5" tubing with a turn down right off the header. Its quiter than open headers, but louder than any muffler with a turn down.

4 dollar can of high temp semi gloss black engine block paint. Good for 500 degress, not sure if the pipes get that hot but I gave it a chance if it came off oh well no one will see it anyways. Lasting pretty good though been on for like 3 days. I just used tape and paper towel to cover the bullets.

Yeah its either gonna be bullets or the outlaw flows because they both flow so well, the flows only have 3 rings inside of it to deaden the sound so i've heard, i wonder how they sound :( i know someone on here said they had them.

Oh and im not a fan of SLP on mustangs.

Whatever you do dont judge the SLP system by the sound clips on the install writeup thats they did on here. IMO it sounds terrible. I have the loudmouth system on my car with a pro-chamber and its very throaty and very load.

Its hard to tell from his videos but i'd say it sounds similar to mobs car only a little quieter on the inside since it is a full catback including the tailpipes (which are stainless) and a lot ouder from behind.

I went from flows to slp and was amazed at the difference in sound both pitch/tone wise and in just sheer volume.

ok i decided to go with the race bullets, cheap, loud, deep, especially on my motor it should sound rather nasty. Im gonna modify the system to locate the bullets right after the H pipe, and point the dumps right out the sides behind the doors. :)

The flows are just too expensive and i read some reviews about them and with me having cutouts already, if i want to be really obnoxios all i have to do if flip my rocker switch.

Thx. I'll post pics when its done. sounds..........maybe ;)

Just went for a drive with the new bullets on :) :) :) :)

Very happy with them, i've never had a straight through muffler before. On my car, it idles quieter than the flows, but just really deep and throaty. At about 1700 rpms it gets a very very very deep and LOUD rumble to it, once it hits 3000+ rpms, you better look the f*** out, these things scream in the upper rpms. Thx MOB for the backup to buy these. Im sure the flows would've been louder, but that was almost $100 more, and i have cutouts already, so loud is just a rocker switch away.

Oh and when i rolled down a small street, i set off about 10 or more car alarms. Purposely kept it at about 1700-1800 rpms where it gets really deep and loud lol, i love it.
