I have not used my timing gun since I moved the battery to the hatch area.
Now I want to check my timing and the power cords are not long enough.
Any advise?
Could I use power from another vehicle that is bumper to bumper?
Or does it have to be power coming from the vehicle that I'm measuring?

Thanks!

power can come from another vehicle or use the starter solenoid and a clean piece on the frame or body of your car. just make sure the inductance clamp is on the #1 wire on the car you're timing
