How do u check / adjust the timing on a 99-04 mustang.......my car back fired out of the exhaust again today.. so i wanna check the timing out.

the ignition/timing on these cars is controlled by the pcm. you don't need to check or adjust it


but if you really feel like you need to steeda sells a timing adjuster or a handheld tuner will let you know and make adjustments
