tips for removing oil pressure switch

how to remove oil pressure switch???

how the hell do you remove the oil pressure switch? thats the only oil leak i have and i bought the part and the socket for it at autozone but the socket is to long, do you have to undo the a/c coppreso?

i attacked it from the front, removed the stud right in front of it (grounding wire and bracket for wire harness, attached to it), then used channel locks/vise grips to get it off. I couldn't get any of my sockets on there, tried a bunch, too. Spray some penetrating oil on there also, always helps. Good luck

i THINK it takes a 26mm socket...hopefully someone on here can back that up. I forgot and my tools are at home.

1 1/16" or a 27mm six point socket. It's on there tight. If your accessory bracket is off the front of the engine, you can use a large pair of channel locks on the metal boss of the sending unit.
