sorry if its a stupid question, but can you use stock tire pressure sensors on bigger aftermarket wheels or do i need to purchase a kit? tire rack website tells me that i need to spend $300+ for new ones, i wonder if its true. thanks
Your car looks like an 05-09 according to your avatar, if so you will have the band type tire pressure monitors. You will need to pick up new bands and relocate the sensors. Go to one of our sponsors like american muscle to pick up a new set.
If you have a newer car though, they are the valve stem type that can be moved easier and no extra purchase should be required.
