If you plan on going with 2 different tire sizes, i would go with at least 285/40 or 295/45 out back and 255/45 up front. I got the KDW2s by BFG from Tire Rack. Nitto also makes a pretty good tire,

actually i have 285/40 on 10" rims in the back and 255/45 on 9" rim in the front. 18s on both. the KDWs didnt come in a 295. but Nitto makes a 295/45 if you chose them. i forget the price for each, but i think they were something like 250 for the rears and 180 for the front (apiece for the KDWs).check out www.tirerack.com they have a pretty big selection

Steed, I wouldn't run the 295/35 with the 255/35. The 255 is over an inch shorter, and that will seriously mess with anti-lock brakes and traction control. 255/40 is a good match though.

Im finding out that the rims I ordered are 9.5" wide all around..So, could I get away with, lets say, 265 or 275 all the way around, or stick with 255's all around??

275s should fit fine, but it depends somewhat on the brand. 275 Nittos might even be small, but they should work no problem. 255's would be too small on a 9.5 IMO, just looks a bit small, I wouldn't go lower than 265.

I run 295/45 out back and 255/45 up front and have zero issues with my anti-lock brakes or traction control...

I've never tried it, but with that combo (I assumed your using 18" wheels) your front wheels are doing 110 rpm and your rear wheels are doing 99.6 rpm at 60 mph. That may not seem like much, but your computer will notice and may try and compensate. I'm not expert on anti-lock brakes, so it could be that the computer learns or maybe you can program in individual tire sizes.

I put 265/35's all the way around on my Ultra-Lite II's, because of the Ford factory defect of the rear tires wearing out much sooner than the fronts, I have the option of rotating.

I was told there is no reason to go with a smaller wider tire up front if the rims are not staggered..If all the rims are the same width, shouldnt I go with the same width tires all around??

I went with 255/45/18 on my new wheels in the Eagle F1 All Season tire.

I got the tire balanced and installed for 191 each It is nice having family in the auto biz hehe.

Smaller tires on the front make the car a bit easier to drive (doesn't track as much). I drove a Trans Am with 315's on all fours and really didn't notice it that much, I plan on going with 275's all the way around on 18x9.5 wheels.
