Tires Slashed, anyone ever try these tires?

Yeah, my tires got slashed. I was up at Walmart with the wife grabbing somethings for the yard and I came out and two tires were slashed. Driver side front and rear. Dont come in the thread saying "kick his ass rawr rawr rawr, I'd kick his ass and make him eat my doodie" because I dont know who did it, and I doubt I'll ever find out. I dont go out of my way to piss people off, and as far as I know I dont have anyone out for me. I dont have a whole lot of money and the price is right, anyone ever run these tires? (Sumitomo HTRZ)

damn i hope i dont have to worry about that.. i figure most of the time they know how utterly paranoid i am.. and that i'd literally kill them with my own two hands if you touch my car in anyway.. i will destroy them i cant stand storys like this.. didnt have anyone mess with it last summer.. probably because im a quite guy when it comes to friends, i dont mess with the wrong crowd

can't help with the tires, but that sucks what happened. i have a 2 way alarm now because i'm so paranoid. My car is parked underground at an apartment, and the garage has been broken into twice. once someone gets down there, nobody can see ANYTHING! 11 cars were smashed and stuff taken 1 night. My key's have gone off twice now, and i was running down there with a bat within 30 seconds. Nobody's gonna mess up my stang!!!!

225-50/r16. I too have a 2 way alarm, cost me 600 bucks. Bought it as soon as I moved here (I came from a town of 7000 people to about 120,000). It sucks but what can I do? Just gotta man up and deal with it .

i would check your local craigslist if at all possible, i almost always find great deals on tires there.

ive got a pair of nitto triple nickels for $250 but they are 245 not 225. they have maybe 7 track passes on em. one of the local car club guys has them right now (not using them) but hes only payed me 50 on them in the last month and a half so i might be takin these back if he doesnt come up with the rest soon.

Those tires are ok for the money. But you can get a BFG or similar for decent money. Even the Nittos. Like someone said, those tires don't hook for ****.

currently have them, and they aren't horrible but they get the job done....hard to say as far as traction...they hook much better than the previous goodyears that were on the car. So that's all I have to go off of...
