Road raced the 65 car in June at the Shelby meet at Hallet with about 1 day of success. The T-5 that is in the car broke the mainshaft again. Well going to opt for the better tranny now and someone mentioned I will have a clearance problem. Anyone know of such an issue.

I would opt for a g-force t-5 as some will tell you the tko is to big and need mods. Others have had good results with it.

Yeah yeah yeah! Actually, I'm going to have to change mine out, my new engine is probably going to be a bit much for my T-5. So ROD here I come!

How much HP/TQ can the Richmonds handle? Not that I'm going to be building a 1000hp/tq monster, well not tomorrow, but maybe a nice warmed up 331 with potential of a SC.

Yep, there's some work that needs to be done. See this article.

I am waiting to have my buddy weld up the hole in my tunnel but I counldnt be more pleased with the way this combo should go down the road...And even if I get to the 400hp mark I am hoping for its nice to know this paticular trans was designed for a Viper.
