I had a incident at the home that destroyed my kitchen and some electric that also took out my home computer, hard drives, contact info, etc...it also locked out my log on to my personal e-mail. I have not recieved any e-mail for the last 3 weeks and just now gained access to my account again. I am slowly going through all 457 emails, so if you can be paitent I will respond. My cell phone also decided not to deliver any VM's so I was truly not ignoring anyone I was not getting anything. Some of you have my home number but I have stopped giving that out since it rings off the hook at times.

To all current customers who were worried or potential customers I am deeply sorry for all inconviences. I am truly a 1 man show and I had to take care of things at the house before proceeding any further in the shop. I have finally been able to make it back out in the shop later tonight/tomorrow and will work hard to get caught up.

I have tried to send direct e-mails to all customers direct, and my phone issues will be resolved by Monday.

Again sorry to all....

Rick

Rick, I'm not sure if you remember me, but I almost had the money to get your work done. When it didn't go through, you were understanding, and I thank you for that.

I stayed out of the other threads because I knew that tempers would rise over standing up for you.

Rick, I read the other posts and stayed out of them because I thought they were crap. I've been on this site for too long and have read countless posts by you, to think that you would rip someone off. You've always come off as a stand up guy and your customers have always seemed to be happy. I'm sorry about the damage to your house. Hopefully, you'll be able to recover and look back on this as just a minor setback. In the meantime, keep carrying yourself with dignity, professionalism and respect. You've earned it and will continue to do so.

This is prime example why people gotta relax once and awhile. The guys house is more important then engine. Hes not gonna be able to build good engines if hes got his house on his mind. People freak out though about customer service do to the performance industry and the frequent ripping peoples balls off. Makes it hard for the good guys. Sort it all out Rick.

I feel the need to reply some more after seeing the other post, to be honest it made me feel absolutley horrible to have someone talk about me that way.

I admit to taking on way to much business, I had over 16 motors at one point. Everyone that I have accepted any money from for motor has my HOME phone number. I do have a day job and about a year ago I got a promotion unfortunalty the people hired to take my old job were slow to learn and another left so I have had to work and travel a lot. I try not to let everyone know my personal life but I have learned a lot from this, I will have to take on less work it was just way to much for 1 person. I build EVERY motor myself, start to finish along with every other aspect.

That being said I have contacted all my customers and everything I have will be completed before the end of the year as things are just about back to normal. I hope this will help explain what was going on, and again to all I am very sorry.

I do not have as much free time to get on SN so I am very slow to return PM's these days, it has been a few weeks since I was on. I just saw the thread today...

Yes I do quote 6-8 weeks from receipt of parts, although currently I would say I am atleast 10 weeks out to be safe, I'd rather deliver early.

Glad everything seems to be OK. Rick, if you carefully look at the thread that I took a large part in, you will see that I was pointing out how bad it looked to someone who otherwise didn't know you. I didn't say anything in public that wasn't known to be true. These guys stood up for you, which is cool - but at the same time put me down pretty hard for what I thought most people would see as a reasonable concern. Of course, from then on, the threads go downhill as I try to defend myself.

I appologize to anyone who was offended....except for Tunden302 - because he's a first class prick, and 90Mustang_GT50, because all in the same sentence, he says "I dont know you, but I took your side" -bandwagon jumping noob.

Rick - PM sent.

Glad you're still around and getting caught up. My next motor will hopefully be built by you if you're not tired of putting up with people's crap by the time I have the cash. Good luck with everything.
