To X or not to X

I cant seem to make a decision if i should put on an o/r x pipe or not? what are some pro and cons?

Well, what do u have now? If stock, then its a personal choice between which off road pipe....i prefer D. Had an H, liked it a lot, went to a d after thinking about a Dr. Gas pipe...and i have not had one second of regret.

huh? i have cat back flowmaster.didn't understand what you meant by the other questions and was thinking bout getthint the MAC black o/r x pipe.

from what i understand, the X gives you a more exotic sound, and the H gives you more of a traditional sound. I'd go H, never heard a D, though.

Pros: Sound!! power!! fairly cheap and easy to install too

Cons: Illegal (try getting an inspection with it, might be difficult), smelly

I was just asking if u still had the stock h pipe...some guys think about switching from a off road pipe to another, just tried to clear things up.

heres the pro.its an 03 with an off road x from mac and catback. 4.6 but you get the idea,its my uncles car.(bigwoofie)

well you may not like the x with chambered mufflers. i plan on going long tubes and an x here in the near future

Yeah dude do the pro chamber with your chambered mufflers. When I ran the Mac chambered aftercat it sounded like ass with my o/r Bassani X until I switched to a bassani aftercat too.

The Bassani catted X's are good but they don't sound like anything, it's a stocker basically. There's your con.

I have the MAC black O/R X pipe with my weld in Flowmasters and it sounds awesome! Kinda loud, but not too loud.
