So the clutch has been going DOWNHILL for about 3 weeks. Had to drive it this past week for work to scrape the funds for this new clutch job, which blows. But when I think back, I was such a stupid noob (I'm still a noob in terms of working on my ride, but I was a stupid noob previously) in terms of having such a bad clutch job done before. The **** lasted a year and a half, but it SUCKED and the guy had no idea what he was doing.

Anyways I rolled into my new shop I'm going to and BARELY made it there, empty tank, my f**king steering column starts getting mad loose on the ride there, and my clutch was pretty much on its last "ride" burning out - I couldn't even shift into 4th, pathetic I know. You don't even wanna know what I was shifting at, lol. Reverse was pretty much gone, etc. etc. you get the point.

On top of that my headlight switch (?) pops off last night and I guess Ford like - glued them in there? How do I fix that crap? The entire interior of the SN95's are worse put together than a freaking toy car. I already need to replace the center console so I'll prolly wait. Oh and I still haven't gotten around to fixing the dent my boy made. Not a good time for me.

Anyways that's my rant, clutches suck. I'm going with a KC, FRPP ADJ Cable and FRPP Flywheel - nothing special but should be a HUGE improvement in terms of driveability, eh?! If I'm not happy with it I'll switch to Centerforce, so we'll see.

OH, and lastly, finally saw that Overhaulin with the 05 - BS. That stupid dike doesn't deserve such a sweet ass ride, are you serious?!! The guy was bitching about the paint job and completley disrespecting the builders, what a joke. Pick some worthy people!

then i guess i wont interject as to how bad the KC's suck now. Different company manu. the parts and the quality sucks now. plus the old ones werent the best ones either a lot of other guys including myself have went through KC with normal driving.
Just a lil info you might want to know. The origional quad. from ford is the best on the market. you can also get its twim a lil beefer though from Mazimum motorsports. The other adj. cables are crap that is why they are so cheap. IMHO get a Spec stage 1 and get the quad. from MM. just passing on a thought.

Thanks 95 - yeah I had read your thread earlier and your comments - IMO it was 50/50 decision like the Spec's - you either love them or hate them. Too many different gauged responses so we shall see. If I don't like it it's getting dumped though.

The KC went in good. Little pissed that I didn't get a firewall adjuster, but will do so in the future. I was under the impression they were installing one with the cable, oh well.

They must've blew my brake light/turn signal fuses when doing the work, so I've got to go BACK tomorrow to get that fixed, pisses me off cause I didn't notice it til driving home.

Anyways so glad that work is done, car finally has the small amount of power fully restored for the time being.

Are you talking about the headlight knob? If so, that pushes on and can only be removed by sticking something small in the slot and pulling it (easier to see than explain).

I love how nicely the interior of our cars is put together, at least mine anyways. I see 2005 Hondas come in with interior components already broken...mine is 11 years old and everything works. ...

The clutch thing sucks though..

Yeah, I saw a headlight knob on 50resto that comes with the metal rod in it - I have to by a new one because the cap separated from the rod and can't really glue it back in.

I'm going to do all interior stuff over the winter - new center console, light knob, floor mats, maybe gauges, etc.

Anyways I gotta go get my fuse fixed back at my shop - later!
