Exactly.....lowering springs aren't the best choice at the strip. They rear springs are too stiff to allow the rear end to squat properly, and the front springs to stiff to allow enough rise in the front end to most effectively transfer the weight to the rear of the car.

When was the last time you saw a lowered car run fast at the track, compared to the other guy with the same parts under the hood and driving skill behind the wheel.
