I have one of those subs in my mustang. I have to say they are by far the best sub I have ever had! They have an awesome bass range and sound great. The car in the video was a total piece of crap!
I have an 8" L7 kicker solobaric in my mustang. I had to take the grill off the speaker because the speaker pushed out enough to put 4 holes in the cone so I had it replaced.
It sounds great. Not too much bass but way more than you would expect. When it was in a hatch it hit 140.6 db which is something you'd expect out of two 10s or two 12s. Being in the trunk of the mustang and pushing through leather seats it loses alot but still sounds just about perfect with the rest of the system.
All that being said, that car looked like a total piece of ****. I wouldn't be suprised to find out that it wasn't near as loud as it was made out to be by vibrations and that **** box. In fact, the mirror didn't look like it was moving all that much at all and that drink wasn't all that special either imo.
