Too much fuel ? 1992 5.0l

x2 on the PIP. It's probably easier to replace the distributor though, rather than change the PIP. Not saying it can't be done, but a lot of people just don't have the tools to do it properly..

This video was perfect for me to diagnose a bad PIP. You're essentially using an old fashioned test light to send an RPM signal, which fires the coil. You become the "switch"

After all of your help, I got my Fox running... Finally. Ended up being the pip sensor in the distributor. I replaced the distributor , and the Tfi and coil just cause, and it fired right up. Even idles good. Thanks for all your help.
