I have '03 Cobra wheels with Pony center caps. I noticed yesterday that two of my caps are cracked. My friend has a set of 4 SVT caps and is willing to give them to me for free. I know it's lame to put SVT badges on a Mustang GT. But what about SVT centercaps? They are SVT wheels anyway. I know many people put SVT body parts on their GT's but keep the GT badges so no one would think they are passing their GT off as a Cobra. Just looking for opinions.

I think you should be alright! They are the svt wheels, its not like your putting svt badges on the car.

I personally don't like false badging OVER what the car is (i.e. Snake emblems on a GT or GT emblems on a V6)

but I think badging UNDER the car is ok (i.e. v6 badges on a GT)

Whatever the case, it's your car bud.

Yea I think thats cool to do. Its not like you are trying to say your car is a SVT but just your rims since they actually are. I have '03 Cobra rims on my car and I have the cobra centercap but all of my badges on the car are GT.
SVT centercap= SVT rims not SVT car

IMO, no problem having the SVT caps on there since they came with the rims and really almost invisible on there and they match the rims perfect. Having said that, I wanted something a little different and ordered up these stickers for my cobra rims.

Who cares? It's your car and it's just wheel caps. I had the cobra head caps fon my GT for the longest time and no one every called it a cobra. Better than buying new caps for $20 anyway.

Don't think there's anything wrong with centercaps. Fender badges would be wrong, imo, but centercaps are fine...

Yeah, I'm going to pick them up later today. I just wanted some opinions because some dude came up to me a couple of weeks ago asking if I was trying to pass my car off as a Bullitt because of the Bullitt gas cap I have.

Well that was just an idiot. I'm not trying to pass my car off as a Mach I, yet I have a chin spoiler and grill delete. Don't pay attention to the idiots out there.
