I am gettin my tax money back soon and want to get the sportlines for my 2000 GT. I went to several local shops today for estimates on installation and they all said around $240-260 dollars. To me this seems like way to much considering ive seen posts of people installing them on their own. Im somewhat mechanically inclined but i am away at college and dont have my tools or the time really to install myself. I guess i was wondering if this is too much. Also how easy are CC plates to install and who has the best/easiest ones? Thanks in advance for replies.

CC plates are something that you may as well install while you do the springs. If you have no tools w/ you pay the shops the $240-$260 they are asking. Springs are labor intensive, even w/ power tools.
