Too rich means you have too much fuel compared to the norm, and too lean means that you have too much air in your mixture. A variety of things can cause this such as your modifications like headers, x-pipe, cams, intake, etc. When you mod your car, you just need to get a custom tune burned on a chip for your EEC that will override the factory settings, OR.........you can just call Tim at www.modularfordpowerhouse.com and have him reflash your computer to automatically adjust the A/F ratio.
You can probably do a search and find more info, but this should get you goin

What does it smell like? I think I'm running rich, my MPG has dropped like a rock recently.. 160 miles and I have about 1/8 tank left. Used to get closer to 200 at this mark.

But I'm not blown!!

Just standard bolt ons, pulleys, exhaust, intake plenum, MAF. Not even a TA yet.

I think mines running a little rich too but not sure right now. I notices that once in a while that when driving, there's a gas smell. Is something wrong and should I be worried about it?

When you let off the gas at about 4500 rpms and are slowing down, do you hear the exhaust pop and crackle alot? If it is, you are probably running a tad rich

I know...it sounds cool, but usually it is the unburnt gases in the midpipe that you hear.. I don't know the best way to describe this, so maybe someone else could pitch in here. Also, if you put your car on a wideband dyno, you will know for sure
