I noticed your rear side panels aren't all scratched and weathered?? where did you get reproduction units, or are those original for the car or original from another car, or are they just 'fixed'?? I need to get replacements for my 76 cobra II they are blue and very scratched and worn!

I got a set off of ebay and spent a couple hours sanding out scratches and stuff and painted them.. it was pretty easy and if i would have had the right materials i could have got them looking like new.. i believe as long as they are not destroyed they can be fixed.

They weren't cracked or broken, just faded and slightly weathered. I prepped them and redyed them. I used the dupont interior dye, but i'm not happy with how it stands up to chipping. The PPG stuff was ok, but it didn't match on parts that were painted at different times. I suggest the SEM spray can stuff, just find some that matches, about 10 bucks per can, but pretty resistant too.
