Took out the sound tube and hit the twisties with the kids today. So I had to take it easy, but still had a lot of fun. I like not having the sound tube in, no real sound change in the cabin except there is no whistle at WOT and it cleans up the engine bay nicely.

Ha, love it! You should go to Bob Is The Oil Guy site and see all of the acronyms that they use there

I asked a question pertaining to the same thing. What is the advantages and disadvantages of leaving and taking out the sound tube?

No performance advantage or disadvantage, and I just did not like the look of it under the hood. The engine bay looks much nicer without it.

Silly question. I read on another website that removing this was worth 5lbs. Needless to say I am a little skeptical. Anyone weigh this setup to see???
