Tools for an auto shop

Hey guys.....as some of u might know I go to the US Merchant Marine Academy and were trying to get a car club together and the Academy has given us a garage with a lift and two parking spots outside the garage. They gave us a few things like a drill press and welder. Obviously I want this club to take off and the academy has asked us to get a list of a few tools that we might need to make it a true auto shop and they would pay for it....

SO...give me a list of tools guys...stuff u would recommend...thanks

Shop tools you may need: press, trans jack, engine hoist

A compressor, obviously. I'd recommend an 80 gallon. A blasting cabinet would be cool. Floor jack. Engine hoist. Engine stand. Transmission jack.

got almost all of that already...any other good things even basic hand tools that are a must?

Torque wrench come to mind for a basic neccesity.
