oh, you mean get REAL gears, lol. I know what you mean about the 4.10's. 3.73's are great gears for a stock mustang (5 spd's anyway), but I wish I had 4.10's now that I rev higher.
I once saw 149 indicated, on my bone stock 1994 GT. With two other people in the car. 5th gear, 2.73's, and the first time I proved that it's not 4th that is the speed gear. It was probably more like 140 in actual speed, but it was damn fast either way -- makes 100 feel like a walk in the park.
Frightening how stupid I was back then . Especially considering that getting to that speed involved several minutes of stupidity. I've never been that fast since, even when I had my '03 Cobra, and it would get to that speed mmmmuch quicker.
About 135 on a trip home from vegas. this was on stock 3.27 gears. It had more in it, but that was plenty fast for me, and I just cruised at that speed for quite a while.
