Looks good, man. Lots of times you were a bit of a pain in the ass for some of us but I'll enjoy seeing you shut some people up on here when you've got a nice lookin car. Time to start the body work and get it all shiny. You gonna get rid of the luggage rack?

Looks like you did a great job, congrats. You should consider one of those headliner kits when you get a chance. I installed one and love it. Really cleans up the interior and reduces some of the noise inside.

Schweeeet.

You installed it, yourself, or didja' have a shop do it? Just curious how tough it was to do, as Frankenstang's '86 'vert could probably use a new top at some point...

:Word:

Nine times outta ten, wings only work on hatches, IMO. Maybe a ducktail-type spoiler, but no wing, please.

yeah but i really dont like the look of no spolier...and since my car came with a 3rd brake light my dad wants me to keep the 3rd brake light...so either a saleen wing or one thats on the limited edition 93's is what im going to go for.

i like the look of a saleen wing on a lx with pony wheels which is what i plan to do until i can get parts together for a 5 lug swap.

Awesome dude! Only problem is in 3 years you'll need a new one. I can't wait to see that vert done. I miss mine.

...unless you live in a place like down here in AZ, where a top can either last you TWO years, or TWENTY - depends on how long you leave the top up and whether or not you've got a garage.

Pretty sure that Frankenstang's Pervertible's top is 100% original - it was garage-stored for ages. It's looking like it'll need a new one before long, though...

What's the biggest PITA about putting on a new 'vert top, anyway? Stretching the material across the supports, or what?
