Gears: 3.73's
H/C/I
Twin turbo.

There's a lot of different ways, the best and cheapest are the rear-end gears. They don't multiply actual engine torque, but the torque that is being put to the ground. Lemme know if you want a more detailed explanation.

Hey CMan i have 3.55's in my car right now. I'm looking into buying the MAC off road H-pipe soon, and i have shorty headers and flowmaster exhaust. I'm not sure what else would get me more torque..

Well be prepared to lose a little low-end torque with an o/r h-pipe. At least everybody says that. I didn't really notice a loss, and even if I did lose some, it was VERY minimal. Plus, the high-end horsepower I gained was phenomenal!! Maybe my stock cats were clogged or something, but it dropped 4 tenths off my ET with a CRAPPIER 60'!! Pretty good if you ask me. If you swapped those 3.55s out for some 3.73's or 3.90's you'd be pretty happy I think. But I dunno if you wanna do that. Otherwise you can look into the Edelbrock Performer 5.0 intake manifold. It's usually around $500 brand new, $400 used, and it adds a LOT of high end horsepower with NO lowend torque loss. I was gonna get that, before I decided to get blown instead. Either that one, or the new BBK SSI (single stage induction) intake has some VERY impressive numbers. Not as much peak HP as the Edelbrock, but some NICE average numbers. Also, no lowend loss of torque. Anyway, thats all I can think of for now, unless you wanna get a stroker kit and turn it into a 331 or a 347, talk about a torque MONSTER!!!

Torque from the engine= stroker! Like the man said. Go 347 or get a 351 and build a 427(?) out of it. Locomotive amounts of torque!

Torque to the rear wheels= leave everything stock and just get 4.56's. It's unbelievable how much oomph that adds. It's about as extreme as you can get but you wont be disappointed. Go 4.10's for a good compromise gear.
