Torque bars

I'm just wondering about torque bars I've been told I should put these on my car so the rear end gets pushed to the ground to grab better traction like a corvette. I've been looking for them all day and I cannot seem to find any anywhere and I can't find any tech articals on them either. I may be searching for the wrong thing. I also wonder if there will be a clearance problem with my car I have the foxbody but my cars also lowered 2" all around and I'm not willing to change that even thought I am constanly bottoming out over speed humps... thanks

look up traction bars. southside, bbk, maximum motorsports and some of the more well known names all have them

also, with the lowered car, you might be sacrificing some of the better atributes of handling and launching. sometimes sacrifices have to be made for others.

edit: these are traction bars, not sure what a torque bar is, maybe this is what your talking about? read the articel, it describes the same thing you descibed.
