Are the convertible torque boxes interchangeable with the fastback?

I know the convertible torque boxes supply more frame rigidity. But could it help the fastback with that aspect, also?

Yes, the torque box is supposed to help rigidity. Later fastback/coupes had them.

I am not sure what years after 66 had them. By chance, does your car have it on one side??

Anyways, you can buy fastback/coupe ones from places like CJ Pony Parts.
