Hey guys...just getting my stang back on the road after a couple years now, and I need the torque setting for the front of the strut rod where it attaches to the frame, and where the rubber bushings are. My factory manual tells me the torque to the control arm, but not for the front(or they didn't use strut rod description like they did for the control arm torque settings.).
Found that I had some worn bushings, esp the drivers side(and they were about 3/4 of an inch shorter than the replacements - both rubber and poly) and if I let go of the steering wheel and slammed the brakes I could do a perfect 180 without any driver input - cool trick, but not something I want to deal with when doing emergency braking.
