Total cost to lower my Mustang with Pro Kit?

You can check the web for the price of the springs. Summit, Jegs are a couple of places that come to mind.

As for the labor, if the Mustang is like other coil overs in the front you are looking at about 1 hr per side for the front. The rear should not be more than another 1 hr for a total of 3 hrs of shop labor.

I would go ahead and figure camber plates just to do it right.

just install it yourself.. there is a write up for that in the tech forum.. its only 1-2 hours to do.. the backs are easy and you dont have to unbolt anything.. the fronts are like few bolts and not hard.. I called for pricing and they all wanted $400+ which is bs.. truest me.. copy the write up in the tech install forum area and do it yourself..

The pro kit is what I too have been looking at.

To do it right you have to consider more then just the new springs. or at least, in general you do,, Not positive with THIS kit and THIS car.

When you lower the rear of a 3 link ,, the axle is going to move over somewhat,,, How much??? with the 1" or so the Pro kit lowers?? I do not know.. You have two choices,, Leave it,, and let the car track off center from the correct thrust angle. Or install an adjustable panhard bar.. making it shorter, and pulling the axle back in line..

You also change the roll center when lowering,, and well as the steering linkage angles.

You can install a "bump steer kit" and even aftermarket ball joints which put the effective spindle position back where it belongs.

Unless someone has looked at all these things as well as done a quality 4 wheel alignment to see where the front caster and camber is at.. Looked at the Thrust Angle. Eibach has not returned my email this week as to what there kit will do to the above issues,, And what they "recommend" for additional parts,, with the "all included" pro kit.

My guess at the minimum for the 1~1.5 Pro Kit will be springs and an adjustable panhard bar for the rear, and possible caster/camber plates if a single inch of lowering takes those settings out of spec. You could add to that a set of dampeners, and sway bars.

I’ll have my alignment done with springs and the panhard bar.. That way I (we) will know if the caster/camber plates are needed for this kit....

Couple of more weeks before I can get a chance to install the parts.
