Touching up scratches on the dash/interior?

I have a 00 V6 Dark Blue w/pretty much all gray interior. The top of the dash is black and the rest is almost all gray(real light though). I have a few minor scratches on the light gray part. One is in front of the passenger seat right next to where it says mustang(when it is scratched it reveals black underneath, very noticeable). There are a few other very minor random nicks that I wouldnt mind touching up. Does anyone know of a type of dash touch up paint and where could I find it? If not I was thinking of going to the local hobby store and matching up the dash with some of their paint. I know they have real fine brushes and proably could find almost an exact paint match there. Would this be ok to use, would the paint peal off under extreme heat?

As far as a paint goes, try Duplicolor vinyl dye. I painted my interior with the stuff (from gray to black), and it came out awesome! As far as little nicks go, I can only think using a 600 grit sand paper to smooth it out would be the only solution, and then follow up with the paint.

I'd just spray the paint into a cup, and use a tiny paint brush to only paint the damaged area though. A few coats should do it.

Thanks, where can I find that stuff at? I like my interior now but changing it would be something I would seriously consider when it either gets too much wear and tear or when I am up for a change. IMO I want my car to become very unique, I like individuality.

I was trying to think if there is a product that you could use to fill in scratches, but I'm at a loss for one.

You can pick up Duplicolor from any auto parts store like NAPA, AutoClone, etc. Even WallyWorld carries it.

Let us know if you find something that will fill in scratches on hard vinyl, ok?

I have a feeling that I will be using regular paint from the hobby store. There are a million different types of paint that you can choose from. I think that will be my best chance for a good match with a fill in job. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

Used Duplicolor Vinyl Dye on the following parts:

Upper door panels, bottom rug in door, rear quarter panels.

Used Duplicolor Mirage paint on the following parts:

Gauge pod cluster, center console trim, window vents, defroster vent, console trim ring vents, small panel on glove compartment, window switch trim pieces, door handle cups.

nice blingage, i have a tan and black interior, and on some parts of my dash the tan is chipped or scratched and black shows through, very noticable, ill try filling it in one of these days, but the blingage might be a little too farout...
