The tread pattern looked impressive; and the price I was quoted at Bell Tire was comparable to the Nittos.

I have Toyo Proxes T1-S got them and they grip soo much better then the stock tires on a GT, my car has also seen its share of rain and more snow than any mustang should ever see and no problems whatsoever...

Bought some Toyos locally from Tire Barn for a real good price. 295s for my Lightning. I like them alot, good in rain and got me through some white stuff a couple of times too. Nice tread pattern and good traction. I would recomend and most L people who have tried them would too.

Deff. on my list for when I get new tires for my 01 Cobra.

I had them and they lasted a nice amount of time. They were good in rain and dry. The only think that I did not like about putting them on my car was the word "Toyo" near my car. Other than that, I would recommend them.

Great tires! They came on my 97 Cobra when I bought it in dec 02 and I have a lot of tire tread left. They get me through snow and rain too! Nice grip.

I got the Toyo Proxy T1S 's ..245/40/17

I put em on almost a year ago, had one hell of a summer and they still look brand new to me in the yard right now...

They are grippy.. And I love the tread pattern on em.. And my Cobra still bangs through offramps very nicely ..

------------------

I don't know how much truth is behind this But the Tire dealer told me last year to research Toyo tires as being the parent company of Nitto.. I did find a few bits of info on the web last year that mentioned the Nitto Tire company as a subsiduary of Toyo Industrys Japan.. But not much more than a few buiness reports of quarterly earnings..

And the tire dealer also mentioned to me something about the Nitto name in Canada being replaced with the Parent company "Toyo" name... Got me on that one..

I've open tracked on Toyo FZ4's for three years. Great tire. Plan on going to the T1S this year. My FZ4's still have enough tread to be street legal yet. They have 15K miles on them.

My wife had them on her Z06 and they wear nice and have nice grip. Used those tires on track day at Mid Ohio and the instructor was even impressed with the tire.
