Hey guys, did a lot of searching but didn't quite find what I'm looking for. Working on getting my Bullitt back on the road and I'm all but certain the rear seal needs changed out on my 3650. I downloaded the Tremec service manual but it wasn't much help, and I couldn't find an illustrated parts book either. Trying to find the correct part # for this seal. I just picked up this from Ford:

http://www.cjponyparts.com/ford-output-shaft-seal-tremec-3650-gt500-t-56/p/HW2382/

What I'm trying to find out is if this is the correct part I need or if there is another seal inside the tailcone that is typically the cause of these leaks which I should change out as well.

Also, never had to remove the driveshaft before. Any special tools I need, and would it be worth changing out the U-joints while I'm at it?

Thx for the help.

The seal in your link "IS" the two seals. They're one unit. Fluid/shaft seal and dust seal.

That is the one I used. The pic isn't correct. The one you posted is the correct pic. Pull the drive shaft, get a piece of pipe the same size, and tap it into place. I did a fluid change when I did mine, so I didn't have to worry about fluid coming out the tailshaft. Simple job really.
