was a huge dissapointment! lol i had not been to the track in 2 years nor drivin a 5 speed in the same amount of time and i just seemed to not have a good day. first off i have a bone stock 99GT 5 speed. stock rims with street tires and the track is repitable to usually be prepped pretty good. best time was a 14.7 flat and that was starting at idle. i couldnt even launch at all because everytime the damn tires would burnout through 2nd gear then finally catch resulting in high 15 sec runs. shifted around 5k to 5200 rpm. 60fts were horrible, best was a 2.34 and that was when i ran my best time of 14.7. could never get my mph to 100 best mph was 96. Any suggestions with the street tires? shift points? like i said it was the first time being out there again, so was that incredibly terrible or what to expect from a stock 99gt 5 speed with street tires and a somewhat beginner driver??
