I was just driving along normally and all the sudden the car started started surging and the traction control light would flash on and off. Then it would stop and things would be ok but then it would start up again. Even when it wasn't flashing it didn't seem as smooth as it should. Any ideas what it could be?

Have you checked for any engine codes?

I haven't done that and don't have a way to unless I take it in. I didn't drive it to work today since I don't know how it will behave but I will have to test drive it again later. I did some searching\reading on other forums and a couple people posted that they were told that if you bump a curb or go over a pothole the TC or Advancetrack will freak out and need to relearn itself again. The night before I was parallel parking and bumped the rear tire on the curb pretty good while backing in so I wonder if this applies to me?

Take a short test drive. It may need to go through a relearn cycle. I know that some sensors take a little bit of time before the indicator lamp turns off. Also, still check for codes. Even though the indicator lamp is turned off the computer may still store some codes. Hopefully you just hit the curb a little too hard.

It didn't happen at all today when driving it to work so maybe it was just in a mood the day it was happening. Hopefully it was just the curb bump that freaked it out and now its over it.
