insurance wise it doesn't affect my plan in any way. insurance is based on year of vehicle, driver record, and age.

Oh, I get a discount for having ABS.

Yes, ABS and traction control go together. On 99-04 you can't get one without the other unless you turn off traction control with a computer tune.

Yes you can have ABS without Traction Control for a 2000, that’s what I have for my GT.
Also my Insurance gave me a discount for ABS and for having a Passive Auto Theft system.

no abs?

trust me you get a much better Mustang without ABS. the brakes are fine in the car without the ABS... you will skid if you lock them up hard but if you've driven disc brakes cars in the past its no different. add the fact that your car is lighter without all the ABS BS in it and that just makes it all sweeter!

fine without abs? HAH... this winter when i was headed down a steep hill as ICE froze over and no problem i drove straight down. my 80 swapped ends the last time. when i dive into a corner at 80-90 and dump the abs i stop. without it (abs) no way(maybe a pro driver...maybe)

nothing personal i just had to comment on it.
