Traction problem at the top of 1st.

So in the first 800-1000miles of my dr's I can launch pretty good (on the street)
But now it seems like outta the hole I slip the clutch at ~1500rpm and hook but once I'm at 3500 or so the tires just spin uselessly untill I shift around 5600.....I'm going to re-locate the battery to the trunk for better weight dist but....Any ideas?
I need wider tires? the're 215/60/14's....Damnit I put so much work into the suspention and it's not working for me....I'm thinking about some cheater slicks or some wrinkle walls.....On 15" wheels.....Ideas? I'm still on 2.73's!!!! WTF? What are you guys doing to get more traction?? :damnit:

I agree, and am now looking into a 15" lightweight wheel and wider tires (slicks). On a side note the battery in the trunk does help....Just did it yesterday.....
