I can technically be done, I believe, but it's a royal PITA. Taking off an H-pipe and putting it back on is no big deal compared to trying to wiggle the crossmember out with the H-pipe in the way.

Just curious, what exactly are you needing to remove the crossmember for that doesn't also necessitate removing the exhaust?

One side of the cross member has some major rust issues. I think if it is easier i'll just wait and order new exhaust and knock that out too. Thanks
