TRANNY HELP!!!!

I need to know what i need to do to make a 2000 t45 fit in a 1996 gt...well i actually have it bolted up but the connections are different can i just cut and splice? also what do i need to do about the speedo? i know the 2000 has a electrical speedo and the 96 has a mechanical.....thanx!

the 96 is electric to. I know the first thing sombody is going to say is "No.. look it's a analog readout" that readout is controled by the intrument cluster module, there is no seedo cable
 
but the connectors are different can i cut and splice the new ones where the old ones are? and also there is a wire comin through where the shifter is....i bought the car like that no engine no tranny so im not sure if that is supposed to go to the tranny or something else....actually it was hooked up to a speedcal i think

you would be better off striping the electronics out of a 96 t-45

if you HAVE to cut and splice you can get the connectors from a wrecked 99+ car or order them from a for dealer. the using the wirring diagram for both cars match them up and splice away.

and about the crossmember. best place would be a junkyard
