Tranny rebuild help

I cannot figure out how to get the inner part of the 3/4 syncro off of the main shaft. It is splined directly to the shaft. T-5 manual says "use proper puller" but I cant get a gear puller on it very well.


also, I know the quality isn't so great (camra phone), Is this gear (strait cut one) supposed to be missing the corner of all it's teeth? It looks very uniform

if i remember right, last time i had a t5 opened up, that part you need off should have a clip of some sort holding it on there. not for sure actually since its been 2 years lol.

Yeah, use a press on that.

And yes about reverse gear, that's how they are.
