tranny swap in an '02 GT

I got the car as a graduation present w/ an auto, and want to put in a T-56, like in the '03 cobras, and was wondering if anyone has done this or heard about anyone doing it and what all it involves.

D&D sell a kit. Its totally do-able. The owner of this site did it too. Diff length driveshaft, otherwise not too bad.

I still havent found the answer on whether you need a new cpu/wiring or can have the stock auto one flashed... some people said they needed a different wiring harness???

I plan on the same swap. Save your cash and do it right. Get a nice clutch and a tri-ax.
