My car has been great since i had the shift fork replaced at 3k miles (was defective / cracked because of the crappy stock shifter) until just the last few thousand miles.
Recently i've been noticing two distinct things that were bothering me about my t-3650. First its been very difficult to get into reverse. It would go halfway in gear but not all the way. The only way i could get it in gear sometimes was when i shifted 1st-2nd then reverse and when that didn't work i had to do the old trick halfway engage first, depress clutch, and shift into reverse which usually works well.
My other issue just surfaced...when i shut my car off it started out as a little squeaky noise...later i heard on occasion a high pitched humming or whistling sound which i assumed was the throw out bearings.
Sure enough the dealer took it in (currently 33k miles) and replaced the throw out bearings. They are test driving it now to make sure it is ok...but the lady in the shop says they can't duplicate the reverse problem now since the throw out bearings have been replaced.
Would throw out bearings be related to both problems or are they missing something?
