TRANSGO- ?'s for those of you who have installed this kit

well my transgo shift kit should be here anyday now and upon reading some magazine articles and install tips on the web i have some questions.
1st, i have seen some people say that the highest setting ( full race/competition ) shifts HARD, some say almost too hard. now, i have installed many, many b@m shift kits in c-4's and c-6's and always went with the firmest hardest shift in the kit and been happy. an aod can't possibly shift any harder than these tranny's can it??? i would'nt think so. usually they give a firm bump when lightly accelerating and then really nail it under full throttle. so for those of you who have installed one what setting did you use?????
2nd, the kit comes with shift point adjustments, are they at a certain rpm or just a certain amount more than stock, and again, what settings did any of you use???
never done an aod before, but can't immagine it anyworse than the one's i've done, including a dodge tranny once........any last minute tips???

well i guess i'll have to use my judgement and see how it comes out. don't believe mine comes with the video but no other shift kit i've ever had came with one either. there's enough extra info on the web if i get stuck i should hopefully be ok. have not heard there were any parts that needed the tranny pulled..........but who knows....guess i'll find out!.

just a follow up of the install incase this pops up in some one's search someday ( being i have an aod it will probably pop up in mine, lol ) but never the less...
purchased transgo kit from evil bay, was one of the older one's that did not come with the video. apparently the reason they decided to make a video is because the regular instructions SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!
THEY ARE SOME WHAT VAGUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i realize if you want support, take a prozac and find a self help group but still, lmao, the instructions could have been a little more detailed and given more of an order of procedure. most shift kit's start with takin the pan off and go down through the list and clearly have an a to z steps. this is important especially when the kit covers sevral years and valve body types and thats where it can get confusing. never the less, i got it installed.
there's two holes they tell you to drill. it says drill holes through x and y passages, almost leading you to believe there are already holes there and to enlarge them......this is not the case, the two holes they tell you to drill into the valve body are not pre existing, and these are the two holes that will later be joined by a small cheesy cross over tube.
got it all back together, drove it, went to put my tools away, and saw that little cheesy cross over tube still sitting on my f ing work bench!!!!!! lmao, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......i was going to wait to put it on after i put the valve body back in the tranny as i didnt want to risk damage to this small cheesy tube while performing other work to the valve body..........oooooooooops.........so off came the pan again, and in went the cheesy lil cross over tube with it's correspondinly cheesy brass hold down tabs........lol. atleast my atf is clean....took about 8 qts the first time, and about 4 or 5 the second time ( i only had to drop the pan not the vb when i installed cheesy tube so i didnt lose as much atf ).
it works, i used the firmest shift, and am glad it's over...pita....
mind you i'm sure the video would have helped, so this was only my evaluation of the older kit with no video............there was also a part in it for the governor, it was optional to install it, don't know what its supposed to do even, and did not even see the place in the tranny where it was supposed to be installed so maybe it's in another part of the tranny ( arent governors in the tail shaft? ) ..........
