Hi sorry to bring up such an old post but I recently bought an 94 mustang gt fixer upper the motor is strong but the automatic transmission is gone. I've heard that the 94-95 mustang v6 uses the same transmission wanting to confirm before buying an 95 v6 parts car with good trans and all other parts I need thanks in advance.

Have you ever found out if the v6 tranny will easily fit into the 94 gt?
I have the same problem..

Yes the v6 trans will fit, but you will need the 94/95 5.0 bellhousing. I actually ran a 99+ v6 t5 in my old 95.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

They are talking about Automatics. I have no idea.

Ahhh I didn’t even notice the automatic part. Guess my reading should be improved lol.

The v6 and v8 have different bellhousings, so the trans will not work between the two.
