Have any of you guys done this one before? I just did today, and the out come is satisfactory at best. I noticed after installing the tranny the Driveshaft yoke sticks out of the tranny about an inch or so...is this normal? I used the drive shaft spacer like i researced, but it still sticks out about an inch or so. Also, after installing it and doing a test run...the frickan motor vibrates like crazy around 2k RPM or so. Im thinking I put in an improperly balanced flywheel. Anyone else agree, or think its something else? The car/engine only vibrates when in it gets around 2k and above. IF I take it out of gear and coast, its ok. What do you all think?

I installed the Tremec 3550 in my car. I have no complaints at all.

I did notice that the driveshaft does stick out about 1/4 of an inch more than with the T-5. I used the spacer as well.

Did you put in a new flywheel?

when you set the car on the ground the driveshaft will go in a little farther into the tailshaft mine does the same thing. I have heard someone say the vibration problem can be made a little better with a FMS aluminum driveshaft

yes, I did use a new flywheel, thats whats bothering me. My biggest mistake, i think, was purchasing it off ebay. The guy said it was fully balanced and ready to go so...
