The Tri-Ax 555-7453 for the TR-3550/TKO will fit. The T-500 is a TKO. If you don't want to use the stops just adjust them all the way out. Personally, I have the stops on my Pro 5.0 adjusted with about 1/16" gap on my TR-3650, regardless of what Tremec says I should do...but please don't tell them!

I puchased a TKO 500 tranny and it comes stock with a Hurst shifter and internal stops. This is a great stock shifter, and there is no adjustments to be made. No one makes an aftermarket shifter for this beast. No need to. The "stock" is rock solid with a positive short shifter.
