Doesn't it suck how we get to buy all these upper intake plenums and you're stuck with a cheap little pulley and a custom tune for like 450rwhp? Man, if I was you, I'd be angry too.

I've seen it listed for $150.00. Looks very similiar to the C&L and Dragon. I may have to nix the catback for one of these and get probably similiar performance gains over the catback. Wierd that it comes in different finishes, silver, black and natural. I wonder what natural is - rough finish?

Yeah its $150 from Trick Flow,

Summit has the cast aluminum (natural) one for $139.95
Part # TFS-518B0001

And they said they (Trick Flow) don't have any plans for a intake manifold because of the low demand.

low demand WTF?!?! I know plenty of people wanting a lower intake for our cars that isn't out of our price range. Just think of the all the forced induction cars that could benefit from a new intake. Hell I know of a few N/A people that want one. I think all we need is a major company to make one and then the rest will follow suit just like these plenum's.

I agree, a intake would be great, I thought there was a high demand.

do all GTs still come with that composite lower? or is it just the GTs from 96-00 or 02 or whatever?

anyway, yeah, now we really need a lower made, but obviously itll take a while, i mean they arent even mass marketing any custom sheetmetal lowers yet, isnt that the first step?

The only option is the expensive Bullit Intake. A top manufacturer needs to jump on this because there is a demand for a lower intake. There have been some attempts at developing lower intakes but manufacturers have found that a loss of power happens unless forced induction is applied. a very tricky equation to balance. Hopefully someone will get it right.

I spoke with Trick Flow at the SEMA show when I saw this piece there.
They are working on an intake, but since lots of companies are they were being very hush hush about it...we should expect to see about 3 different companies putting intakes out by about summer.
