Anyone have the trick flow upper intake manifold for the 99-04 4.6L yet? I was looking into buying it.

Do you mean just the plenum that sits on top of the STOCK lower intake manifold? If so yes quite a few people have it and its a great product.

I was one of the N/A guys who were going to buy and test that intake when it came out. I decided against it quickly when it gained power in the very upper RPM range on a blown application and torque was lost/unchanged. That is bad news for any N/A application. If you have F/I its an option, but the P-51 looks like the best one out there for more mild blown applications. On our cars, the stocker flows well and really isn't that much of a bottleneck, its the heads. Of course it is plastic too so there are issues with that sometimes. But overall, it really isn't worth it. Just my .02

One of the mags tested it on a supercharged car. It gained a WHOPPING 13rwhp. That means like maybe 3rwhp for N/A guys. Save your money for a S/C as its about 1/2 the price of one
