So I'm in the process of building my new engine....fully ported svo heads, ported cobra intake, comp cam, etc etc....from what I'm reading I'm gonna have to get some Trick flow valve covers to have clearance for the alternator and the 1.7 stud mount rockers I plan on running and also fit under the cobra intake with no spacer.....what I wanted to know is....which set of trick flow valve covers? They have like 10 different ones for our cars and I know a few of you run them, just can't remember who. Thanks guys!

Just get on summit and look them up and read the description and make sure they say stock height. Those are the ones you want.

Cause the notes say this "Requires modifications to clear factory 5.0L intake manifold. Will not clear stud girdles. Covers are 3 in. tall and will clear roller rockers." So I wanted to make sure I was getting the right product when I'm spending 100 dollars

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

These are the ones.

Trick Flow Specialties TFS-51411801 - Trick Flow® Cast Aluminum Valve Covers - Overview - SummitRacing.com

You have to drill a hole for the oil fill. It's sold seperately.
