Has anybody bought the trickflow upper engine combo. Heads,Cam,Valve Covers Etc.. I would like to know if you have had any problems with the heads or valve guides wearing out.

I love mine but would recommend getting new lifters as the kit does not come with them. Valve guide problem was an issue on earlier heads. problem since solved.

It's a super kit. They flow very well. I went with them originally cuz a guy on here hit 315rwhp with a 302. But since then I have learned that dyno shops can make the numbers whatever they want and its all subjective. But either way you cant go wrong with it,

For the money it's tough to beat. The typical daily driver type trickflow H/C/I car I tune runs high 12s low 13s. Start getting more drag race oriented with the car and low 12s and beyond are doable.

Valve guides do tend to wear over time, I was discussing this with one of the engine builders we use just the other day. I would not let this detract you from the kit, however. Be sure your pushrods are setup properly and it will live a long life.
