True ricers

I dont know if anyone has ever noticed this before but, it seems like all the ricers I see seem to have body kits that hang so low they must catch on everything. Lately ive noticed that they have these body kits on there Hondas or what not and they are trashed Alot of time the paint is scraped off of the front bumper or its cracked I think this is what I would call a true ricer. They drive these cars year round and they never seem to be clean. But lately I have realized that you have to appreciate the nice ones. One's that you can tell took alot of hard work and time to make fast and look nice. Im not saying I would drive one but there not the true ricers in my book. Anyone else notice this.

That's how alot of them are around here. I do have a friend who has a nice WRX w/some go fast goodies. His car is tastefully done, even though i'd never buy one.

Yes, I agree. I pass a VERY tastefully done Civic everyday on my way to work. Custom paint and kit and a performance muffler. I really appreciate it as he takes care of it. I've never not seen it sparkle once.

Be careful though, just the other night I got to hang out with a 95 Neon R/T, Z-3 fenders, body kit with the front bumper hardly hanging on for life, paint missing, fart can, the whole 9 yards.

This car rips balls though, like incredibly. He raced by buds LS1 Camaro that pulls 12.2's on streets, and got him from the start and hung on for a while before getting reeled in.

So some might look and sound like chit, and totally fit the "ricer" term... but they might be the damn fastest chitbox you ever did see... hahaha.

actually yes. There are a few times where i will see a honda civic (most popular and hated rice car, i mean race car ) and the exhaust will semi-hum and not be too bumble bee-ish and the paint is very clean and the body kit looks nice. and i sit back and actually say outloud wow that car does look nice. There are a few cars i see from time to time and i do acctually appreciate that the owners do take car of them

sure they are rice cars and everyone has their own taste, and while i'm a die-hard mustang fan, i can appreciate cars in general and the way in which they are owned individually.

But i gotta say those nice cars are few and far between 9.5 out of 10 imports i see that are "trying" to be 2 fast and furious look terrble. Carbon fiber everything, unpainted body kits, Skunk2 badges and stickers everywhere, and who could forget the weed-whacker exhaust

All the vehicles I see in this condition are honda civics,accords,and
some acuras.The worst part about it is some of the body panels are not
painted and they have a really loud fart cans.I think they are pathetic
people how can't afford a real car.The only import cars I can truely appreicate are fast and tastefull Subaru's because I have been working
on them for ten years now.

personally I dig the "new" (ok more widely growing), trend of these dual fart can honda civics, or even better, the fart can thats angled the the side and up (almost like the old VW exhaust on the buggies), but in the center of the bumper {___I /=/ I___} if that makes sense.

I've seen some nice looking and very fast rice. I'm not much of a fan of wild paint jobs, so something done tastefully (IMO at least) is respectable. But I also see alot of fugged up cars. Lady I work with has like a 82 corolla, beat to crap, but it has a new aluminum park bench on the back. She goes out at lunch every day to sit there and eat her turkey sammich!

But a Honday S2000....RX8....NSX...350Z....even a Evo or WRX, at least these all start as very nice cars.

Lol I go to a Community college and see alot of ricers some nice ones because most of us guys that go there have full time jobs. But there's also the Honda with the cracked front bumper lol. I went to visit my girlfriend at her college and every other car either ad 20inch+ rims or a rice pipe lol A couple of my favorite would be a Honda Civic with a fart can and a bunch of V-tech stickers or the Saturn with the rice pipe But there is a couple nice mustangs there. My favorite would be a 2001ish Cobra Every time I see it he shifts hard into second gear and the thing is so deep and loud. It might be louder than mine idk because mine is pretty damn loud. There is also a nice Fox Body GT with I believe 347 or 351 badges on it, but it was very dirty.

Hey, not every import is driven by an "import" type of guy. Here's my high 13 second VR6 and my friends awesome 300whp Saab. Pic taken this time last year.

Another with stock wheels on it, dunno why, always liked the stock wheels, it handled so well with them.

I'm a fan of many many cars, I keep an open mind. Love my Stang as much as the next guy, but very few can touch the VR in the corners...driving one, then the other..heh, night and day. Don't get me wrong, tho, the Stang is superior in many ways. The GTI is for ergonomics, highway speed, handling, braking, overall performance. The Stang is mostly just for extreme power, handling and braking. Although I admit since I have the Limited Edition Stang the interior is as nice as the GTI nearly, but recaro is recaro, woot!

That vr6 looks nicely done, except for the headlights. I am undecided on weather I like the Saab or not Its cool because you dont see to man modified one's but on the other hand im not too fond on the looks. Although 300hp is pretty damn good.

I'm a ricer I have a ton of paint scraped off on my Cobra R bumper and the paint is cracked on several parts of it
